Hello Dear Reader,

my Nom de plume is Trua L.K. Jankins and I am the author of The Dark Ego of Existence, a fantasy series born from an unexpected creative awakening and a fascination with the deeper layers of human existence.

For me, writing is more than storytelling. It is a way to explore the hidden landscapes within us, the parts of ourselves we rarely see, the choices that shape who we become, and the mysterious connection between imagination, identity, and the world around us.

Through my writing, I explore fantasy alongside questions about power, consciousness, human nature, and the forces that exist beyond what we ordinarily perceive. Beneath the magic and adventure lies another journey: the journey inward, where light and darkness are not always opposites, and where discovering another world can sometimes mean discovering something about ourselves.

The Dark Ego of Existence began with The Enchanted World, first published in 2018. What started as a story became something more personal: an unfolding world through which I could explore ideas, emotions, and truths that were waiting within me to be expressed. I write for those who still believe that stories can do more than entertain. I believe they can make us question, remember, feel, and ultimately see ourselves beyond the boundaries of what we once believed possible.
